What The Revolution Theme Can Do For You
With Gobala’s hot contest to win a revolution magazine theme makeover in february there are already some serious contenders. When I read his post it came to me at the right time as I had just launched my local niche blog. I wasn’t happy with the initial template and was toying with Justin Tadlock’s cool free themes since my site is some kind of news portal.

But when I saw Gobala’s magazine theme competition for February 2008, I went straight to Brian Gardner’s site and bought a multiple user license. I fell in love with the clean design and style.
Also, for buyers there is a great support forum with plenty of coding stars that can help a nookie like me to even change my style sheet some.
In the last few days I have been busy getting the blog changed over and ready for the world with a new design. Below is the result:
I wanted to show you what is possible with this theme and that you should all enter the competition to be able to start your own local niche site.
Hope you love it as much as I do. ![]()

Well the Yeppoon Chronicle is definitely looking good now. What if you entered the contest and then won it when you’d already shelled out the $80 :0
someone who seems to be really concentrating on the magazine theme and bringing the latest development’s to this type of theme is adii dot co dot za, i’ve used a number of his free themes and the benefit for me from a v.newbie standpoint is the clear code for customizing…
Thanks Roger,
I’ve heard of Adi’s themes and been to his site in the past. Thanks for reminding me as he did strike me as a very able theme developer.
Looking good there! The Revolution themes are great, I agree. It’ll be interesting to see who wins it.
Yes Brian’s Themes are great. I bought a Revolution Theme recently and am now hooked. I think I will go and get his developer package.
So be warned, using good stuff is addictive
