Putting an Optin Box on Your Blog
Delivering correct information to your blog readers is very important. For this people use email subscription tools like Aweber or Get Response which makes email marketing and email subscribing a lot and lot easier.
But the problem lies when you need to paste and evaluate the optin box code of the form on your blog. You will need to login or check your notepad for the code again and again when you need it and also a WYSIWYG editor also to edit or evaluate it.
But now CodeBanter has came up with an amazing Wordpress plugin, Codebanter Optin, which makes everything a lot simpler.
Codebanter Optin is basically a form extractor and a markup optimizer. It makes easier to save and use your optin box code again whenever and wherever you need with just a line of command.
Pros:
- Makes it easier to manage your autoresponder account with Aweber or Get Response.
- Its form extractor technology makes you more functional and comfortable with editing or changing properties in the optin box.
- You can auto-create campaigns using it and also process it to get its code.
- It has a support for Widgets also.
Cons:
- Support for only Aweber and Get Response.
- The setup may require theme editing.
Overall if you use Aweber or Get Response, then you should get this ultimate plugin.

I just installed this plugin the other day and it made creating an optin box for my blog so easy. It is very good!
Thanks for the aweber plugin article. This is exactly what I was looking for.

this all sounds great but a few things I’m not familiar with. First, email subscription tools or opt-ins, do I have the full control of these opt-in forms, does the info entered come to me or thru some other firm. And, Aweber and Get Response, or is this what you have to subscibe to in order to even have an opt-in box on my pages? Opt-ins and auto responders have really got my attention as being nessesities, I’m just not yet up on how it all comes together to work.
Thanks

I don`t know about this I just started this so some of what you are talking about is a lot of WHAT I would like to know and uri is still just uri Barbara (help)
@ Barbara: I’m not sure what you mean by “uri” in your comment. Also, this Plugin post was written last year and since then WordPress has updated many times.
To check whether it is still supported by the newest version you’ll need to head over to the official WordPress codex page and look for the Plugin’s name.
If you need help, please specify exactly what you are confused about so that we can hopefully help you or point you in the right direction.
