Get More Links to Your Blog With ReviewBack.com
The tagline says it all: You blog me… I blog you… we create buzz.
Basically, this site automates what some bloggers have been doing for quite some time now - reciprocal reviews. I’ve done a similar campaign with my Internet business blog, where I invite other bloggers to review my blog, in return for a review “back”.
According to Nick Mazza and Kyle Johnson the co-founders of the site:
Conceived in May 2007, reviewback aims to be the world’s first, free review exchange marketplace. We provide tools to quickly add your site to our network and instantly begin communicating with other bloggers and writers in your same niche and target audience. There is no limit to how many reviews you can receive: as long as you are willing to write for others, they will write for you. Our hope is to provide not only an effective way of promoting content and building links, but also of receiving honest criticism and comments from fellow writers so that you can continue to improve and develop your site/product.
However, for each review you do, you must disclose that it’s part of an exchange network.
I’ve created my account and added a couple of blogs. However, as far as exchanging reviews with other bloggers. it’s not as automated as I’d wish it to be.
For example, I need to manually initiate contact with individual blogs, and there are no clear instructions on how to request for a review. It would help if I can also create a sample review within the site that I can submit to other users along with my request. That ways, it makes it easier for both parties.
That being said, this tool is free anyway and it can be added to your blog marketing arsenal.
